watersports

We have two teenage boys. Can anyone tell me which resorts have access to motorised and non motorised watersports on the beach?

We are thinking of going next July/

All resorts. Look at Protaras - good watersports at Konnos Bay, Pernera Bay and Fig Tree Bay. Also Nissi Beach area at Ayia Napa. July - guaranteed sunshine but incredibly hot!

There are watersports in the bay behind Tasia Maris. Probably have to go on here if you don%26#39;t get your sun bed at TM

We have just got back from two weeks in the Protaras area. In Fig Tree Bay you can enjoy the following:

Scuba Diving (go to dive school under Capo Bay Hotel)

Snorkelling

Kayaking

Parasailing

Hire a pedallo

Hire a motor boat

Banana Boating

not forgetting just swimming.

There are probbaly other things aswell, but those are what we saw or did. Didn%26#39;t see any windsurfers on this stretch of the coast though there probably wasn%26#39;t enough wind.

You can have a trial scuba lesson and if they like it and can afford the time (and money) you can do the PADI Scuba Open Water Course in four days. Its much more fun under the water than on top of it !

You%26#39;ll also find that a dive school come to the TM Beach Hotel, I think on Monday, so that you can have a little swim around the pool and get used to breathing through the regulator. They then give you details about going on a dive with them. Obviously not deep. Think the max you%26#39;re allowed on first dive is 15m. Could be wrong on that. But if you do want to go and dive, ensure it is as early as possible in your holiday. Certainly not within two days of flying back home. Take local advice
