Where to get married sept 07

Hi, I%26#39;m looking to get married at Nissi Beach Hotel in Sept 07. Has anybody been married there or been to a wedding there?

Was the service, food any good?

How about the accomodation - I%26#39;ve read some reviews suggesting it was not very good.

Just want to make sure I find a nice place. Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks.

I got married in the Grecian Sands hotel in October 2004, and would highly recommend this hotel for your wedding, check out the reviews on this site and holiday truths, you get a choice of venue for the marraige a choice for venue for the reception, everything was taken care of and you are made to feel special. We booked with Tomas Cook. The grecian sands have their own web site too which will give you more information.

For me the scenery at Nissi Beach for a wedding is the best. Didn%26#39;t get married there but I attended a wedding and everything was great. As far as accomodation is concerned I have stayed several times at Nissi Beach and I stayed at the bungalows by the sea and I can tell you the experience was great. They are a bit pricey but hey -- you only get married once!

Hey there! I%26#39;m getting married there 9th July 07 so hopefully mine will go well and i can send you all the details!! Did you book your wedding directly through the hotel or through a wedding organiser? I%26#39;ve spoken to a girl also from Ireland who did the deed there and said she couldnt have asked for more, it was her dream come true!! Are you having an indoor/outdoor civil wedding? Mine will be outside under the wedding canopy. Cant wait. Any reports i%26#39;ve heard from people who got married there were excellent and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. Hope this helps.

hi, Me and my husband got married at the grecian sands hotel on the 22nd of august 06..

It was fantastic, we got married in a little chapel in the grounds of the hotel, or you could get married on the sea deck or a wedding room indoors, there is a number of rooms and areas where you can have your reception, from out on the verenda to a marque area outside to a lovely air conditioned room indoors

We booked with thomas cook and they were great, you get a wedding coordinator when you get there who takes care of everything, the photographer who was booked through them was great, we have an album of 50 amazing pictures....if you get the chance to go to cape greco and have sunset pictures done, DO IT, you will never get pictures like it ever again!!!!!

There is also a hairdressers at the hotel who did mine and my bridesmaids hair she did an exellent job.

Well i think ive bigged up the grecian sands hotel enough now, but they certainly know what they are doing there.

hi boo

Just returned from Nissi beach Hotel where I got married on June 28th. It was lovely.

Service was outstanding, food was delicious.

We stayed in a beachfront suite and it was fantastic - my in laws stayed in a room in the main hotel on the 1st floor whcih was ok, clean %26amp; tidy but small. My paerants stayed in a room on the 3rd floor and paid extra for a sea view. Likewise the room small, but seeing that view seemed to make a hell of a lot of difference, believe me - it was absolutely stunning. The balconies are very small though.

If you can afford it a beachfront suite is a must, if not go for a Seaview room i don%26#39;t think you will be dissapointed.
