Mosquitos

Hi. First time to Cyprus and was wondering, are there mossies as in Spain? Going 11th August to Tsokkos Gardens. Also, will my hairdryer work or do I need a special adapter?

Unfortunately there are mosquitoes! But from experience I would have to say they are worse in Ayia Napa than in Protaras. I would bring all the deterrents and the after bite lotion/cream just in case.

Yes your hairdryer will work, we have 3 pin plugs here so no adapter is needed.

Eurex cream is very good for mossie bites also Germaline, takes the itch out.

Hi, we were bitten by ? mozzies or possibily little tiny ants which were around the pool at our hotel in Protaras in October last year.

When we went to the Algarve in June we used Avon skin so soft spray, although it%26#39;s not what it%26#39;s meant to be for, it has been found to be effective against mozzies %26amp; it smells nice, have a look on ebay.

They love me too. I took skin so soft and it seemed to work so long as I made sure I covered every inch (they found the bit on my ankle I missed!)

Is it worth investing in an electric mossie repelent?

Or are we best just sticking to the spray on stuff
