Octopus Aqua Park

We%26#39;re off in a weeks time and I%26#39;ve come across this on the net, but can%26#39;t find any info about the place. Has anyone been? From the little info I%26#39;ve gleaned it seems that Octopus is quite small. Am I right? We have 2 children aged 15 and 12 and are wondering if its worth a visit.

Thanks Lesley.

I think your children will probably find the Octopus a little tame compared with the water parks in other European holiday resorts.

When we took our 7 year olf a few years ago it was what I would describe as basic. They had about four water slides which they operated in rotation and according to demand. However, the pools were lovely and there were plenty of loungers around for the adults.

The owner of the park brought us some watermelon on a plate and some apple turnover desserts after we had eaten at the cafe which was a lovely touch.

If you are staying at a hotel with a large swimming pool then I don%26#39;t really think there is much more to attract you to the Octopus. Having said that, it isn%26#39;t that expensive to get in so you haven%26#39;t wasted much if you find you don%26#39;t like it once you get there.

Have a lovely holiday.

There is a new aqua park just opened last weekend at Club Lapethos. I have heard really good feedback about it, from 2 different sets of friends.

Club Lapethos is at Lapta.

Good luck

Thanks both of you. Looks like we%26#39;ll be checking out the one at Lapta then!
