I would say, going by your criteria,you%26#39;d enjoy Protaras.Loads of good restaurants and lively(some tacky kareoke) bars and a great beach all on the same stretch of road. The main hotels that access the beach directly are a bit on the pricey side but there are some great self catering apartments a stones throw away, especially if you want to eat out and not be tied to half board.Have a look at Brilliant Apartments,Golden Star,Rising Star just to name a few.Protaras is also a good base for exploring with Ayia Napa,Famagusta close by.

Would also recommend Coral Bay,smaller resort than Protaras but has many good quality restaurants and several bars all within a strip of a couple of hundred yards. Also regular buses into Paphos for a change of scenery and hundreds of restaurants and bars to choose from there as well. And the best beach in the area although it does get very busy.Best of luck!!

Yeah i would agree

im off to protoras in september

have been to aiya napa 5 times and paphos once we are now going to protoras

Its ideal for you as u can have nights our in protoras and then catch the bus to aiya napa and sample the nightlife there - what we plan on doing is havin a night there and getting the bus there and a taxi back (taxi is about £10 cyprus )

Havent stayed in protoras before but have had a night out there so thought we would try it for a change

Why does nobody try Limassol.Stay away from the tourist area.Very cosmopolitan smart shops, good restaurants and quality nightlife. You do not see many drunks in Limassol,no fighting and only two fish and chip shops.Great place to explore from, best beaches are out of town.

It is a working town but at this time of year it is the holidays. If you want nightlife and Brits go to Ayia Napa or Paphos...
