I am staying at the Kissos Hotel next year. According to which brochure you read the hotel is anything from 50 metres to 2 kilometres from the beach. I would be grateful if anyone who has stayed there could tell me how far it actualy is from the beach. Thanks very much.

Hi - yes the Kissos is not far from the beach (I believe some of the rooms have sea views) but not a beach you would necessarily want to spend time on ! You can sit on the beach but getting in and out of the sea is tricky as there are lots of rocks. There are one or two decent beaches scattered along the coast around Paphos- see other posts - but not until you get towards Coral Bay do you get Sandy Beaches.

I would agree, the nearest to the kissos would be next to the alexander the great hotel, a small sandy beach area gets quite busy %26amp; then along to the Atlantida Rest. Other then that your safe bet would be Coral bay. Definately would not go to the beach where yoou have been told 50 metres very very rocky
