Paphos Amathus Beach Hotel and the Sodap Wine Factory

I am staying at the Paphos Amathus Beach at the beginning of September and wondered if the destruction of the Sodap Wine factory just along the beach or the construction/building works of the proposed new hotel was causing any problems.

Is there much work going on ?

Is it very noisy ?

Can you hear it from the hotel pool

Hi, just got back from pathos, altough I wasn%26#39;t staying at the Amathus beach We did pass on the bus to the harbour. the sodap wine factory seems to have already been flattened. I didn%26#39;t notice any work going on the day we passed but it was early afternoon so they may have stopped due to the heat. sorry if it%26#39;s not much help but at least the demolition side of it seems to have been completed.

Just come back from our wedding/holiday. Stayed at the Amathus, lovely hotel. We were upgraded to a junior suit, however it was next to the building work. To be honest it did not bother us at all and it was a much nicer, quieter side to the hotel. I think in the two weeks, we only heard the peker twice, maybe three times and that was about 3pm. At the moment all builders have been told not to work between 12pm -4pm.
