My neice is getting married in Cyprus next year - The hotel is in the Cape Greco area - Grecian Park. As we are a family of 4 adults and all may attend, this hotel is out of our price range. Therefore we require a 3/4* hotel that does Bed and Breakfast as near to this hotel as possible. I have been looking on internet sites and am confused Paralimni and Protaras both look near. Cany anyone help.

try the iliada, virrisiana, sunrise beach hotels all are in protaras and near to the crecian park although its a fair walk . The grecian park is outside of protaras on the road to ayia napa. paralimni is more of a town for the locals. you might also want to try the vangelis apartments and go bed and breakfast.
the pernera area is also a consideration for you although that is on the opposite end of protaras from the grecian so you are therefore going further away. both areas are excellent and you wont be disappointed . pernera approx 15 minutes ,taxi protaras 10 minutes taxi from the grecian park

Right near the Grecian Park Hotel are the Konnos Bay apartments - I think Olympic Holidays - very nice. Fantastic area - very quiet but with a gorgeous bay. Paralimni is the local area which covers Protaras %26amp; Pernera and what we might call the Local Authority - Paralimni itself is a lovely village about 5/6 miles from the area you will be staying in. There are of course lots of hotels in Protaras which is about a half hour walk or if you hire a car only 5/10 minute drive from the Grecian Park - there are regular buses and of course plenty of taxis.

Thank you both for your information I will certainly look the hotels up that you recommend. Looks like you both have travelled alot in Cyprus - can you recommend where to get cheap flights please.
Thank you again, be in touch.

Hi Sab,
We have stayed the last twice at De Costa Bay apartments (which is 10 min walk to centre of Protaras...on the road to Agia Napa)
Got cheap deal with www.beds4all.com (£330 for 2 weeks, 1 bed apartment) Apartments basic but nice and are pretty spacious as well.
Website for Map of Protaras and suurounding area is http://www.kapparis.info/maps/index.html go into the Protaras Protaras (2443x3044 pixels, 1.2 MB) link and it will show you where all the hotels are.
Regarding cheap flights..there is a huge amount of websites that do cheap flights, a few that i use often are:
flyglobespan.com
cyprusairways.com (if booked in advance can work out pretty cheap)
cheapflights.co.uk
justtheflight.co.uk
Hope this helps

Thank you, that is very helpful.
Do you recommend booking now for next June? as I specificaly want to be there for a wedding. Is there a good time to get a good deal?
Last year I got a cheap flight to USA - 10 months in advance and a cheap week 3 months in advance and I booked them end August beginning September.

As Cazz-Uk has mentioned beds4all is quite a good website to check out apartments which would work out cheaper than a hotel. Check the websites for the best air deals. The cheapest I have managed in the past has been £154 plus taxes but my flights generally work out around £220 but I do know people who have left flights to the last minute and got them for £54 but I%26#39;m afraid I don%26#39;t have the patience or the time to trawl web sites. I have used Cyprus Airlines, Eurocypria and Excel - personally I like Cyprus Airlines best. Check out www.cyprusairways.com - they are currently offering flights for £128 plus taxes for next June - I would book up now!

Thanks Kath for your advice.
Before I posted my latest questions I had got flights with Xcel for £418 for 2. Now I know what prices to expect then I think I must hurry up and get booked.
