Hi Garethhart.
Are you looking for somewhere with a great beach, great for kids?
If you give a few more details as to what you%26#39;re looking for, you%26#39;ll get loads of replies.
If you want a great beach, a good range of bars, restaurants etc, then Coral Bay might be the place for you - but it%26#39;s a good 20 minute bus ride/taxi/car ride out of Paphos. It%26#39;s a nice little self-contained resort though. I don%26#39;t have kids, but I%26#39;m sure someone will fill you in on what there is at Coral Bay for kids.
If you want to be nearer Paphos, you won%26#39;t find great beaches, but most accommodations have a swimming pool. The Waterslide Park is great for kids and adults alike - again, someone who has kids will be able to fill you in on other kids activities.
You can consider the Tombs of The Kings area, which is just outside Paphos (too far for kids to walk, but OK for healthy adults!).
It too has quite a big range of bars/restaurants.
Consider hiring a car, it%26#39;s very easy to get around from one place to another.
How about getting a map and you can get a better idea?

Hiya,
We stayed at our place in the Tombs of the Kings area last Easter.
This time of year is ideal for getting out %26amp; about exploring the island as well as Paphos itself.
It was warm enough (just) for the outdoor pools but we found a few indoor ones.
We spent several afternoons on the beach @ Coral Bay (20 mins Drive) %26amp; even managed to get burnt.
Paphos has many attraction including the Tombs of the Kings and the worls famous Paphos Mosaics at the Harbour.
We walked from our house to the Harbour along the coastal path with our two young girls (3 %26amp; 5). It took a while but we stopped off had a drink, then were ready to find somewhere to eat.
There are plenty of taxis and the bus runs regular this time of year from Paphos to Coral Bay.
The best place to stay depends on the holiday you want.
For Bars %26amp; restaurants on your door step, then the Universal Area close to the town centre may be best for you.
For the best beach - Coral Bay.
For away from the humdrum then Peyia.
Tombs of the Kings is out of the centre but close enough with ample of bars %26amp; restaurants on your door step.
Hope this helps.
Stewart
