Just come back. I took some cypriot pounds and english money. Found you got a little more out there by changing english money than changing it here, Make sure you look for the best exchange rate. We got 86 to the pound out there. 81 here. Some places charge a little commision. They are changing to the Euro next year I believe. So make sure you use it all !! Have a good time, we loved it. Troodos Mountains a must.

It is still the cyprus pound only till Jan 08 then it changes to the Euro

I know what you mean Kev, we%26#39;ve had the Euro here in Ireland for a couple of years and cant seem to keep them in our purses. You still keep thinking you have 20£ but of course the 20E dosent go anywhere near the value and its a sneaky way of putting up prices!
