Hire Cars?

hey I was just wondering about hiring a car when in coral bay and is it expensive?

Im going for two weeks at the end of august and was just wondering how much money I would need? as some say cyprus is expensive?

We were In Paphos 2 weeks a go and you could get a car for as little as £14 a day (small one). Average seemed to be £20, obviously less if you hired one for 3 days or more. Prices were starting to rise so likey to be more in August.

Hope this helps.

No - bit to long in the tooth for watersports.

We were in a self catering apartment but only cooked breakfast. Don%26#39;t do lunch so ate out every night, preceded by a few drinks. Hire car, no trips. We spent £1200 for 2 of us for 2 weeks. Obviously would have cost less if we had cooked but I didn%26#39;t want to and the accommodation was good but didn%26#39;t want to spend all night in it. Local lager CY£1.50, glass wine CY£1.50, cocktails CY£1.50 (quite weak). You could get a 3 course meal from CY6 (fairly rubbish we thought) but you could get a decent meal for two with couple of beers and wine for about CY£25 for two.

I did think it was quite expensive but Europe tends to be these days. I would go full board or even AI if I went back.

The average for a car would be 20 pounds (cyprus pounds) per day, depending on the type of car you choose.

Water sports are expensive, parasailing about 25 pounds for 15 min if I am not mistaken. There are also jet skis etc, but do not know prices, so I better not reply on that.
