want to go to protaras in early october with wife and 3 year old grandaughter any good self catering appartments reasonably close to the center of protaras with something for children went to paphos last may it was brilliant stayed in the new york appartments good value holiday

Very good apartments in Pernera called The Livas - Pernera is quieter than Protaras but only a 10 minute walk away. I have stayed at The Livas for the past three years. Ideal situation, close to lovely beaches. Good pool area and very friendly staff. Other good apartments are the Domniki which are situated directly onto the beach and The Isaac. Average price for apartments are 21CYP in October and that is per apartment not per person if you book direct

Have a look at the Rising Star apts in Protaras(Direct Holidays).Just off the main street,next to beach,close to McDonalds(for kids obviously!!)

Try www.beds4all.com ; they have a wide selection of hotels in Protaras. We have stayed previously in De Costa Apartments which are a 10-15 min stroll into the main strip. Cost for 1 bed apartment was £340 (total for 2 weeks) I can also recommend the Lantiana Gardens Hotel, which is just behind the main strip.

we stayed at the Seagull Hotel apartments, friendly staff, clean apartments, super restaurant over the road. A short taxi ride to Paralimni. We hired a car,drove to limssol and Ladys Mile beach ( believe this was named after a racehorse),intended to go up the Troodos mountains, but took the wrong turning,but we did drive past the R.A.F. base at Akrtiri ha! ha!

We wished we had booked two weeks, maybe next time.
