We would like to see if anyone can help us, we are 2 familys for 2 adults and 1 14yr old son each, and would like to do to north cyprus, we are not sure which would be the best hotel to give the boys something to do so they are not bored, can anyone help, also which is the best company to use to give us the best prices and not get ripped off , we would be happy to book to hotel seperate from the flights if it is cheaper, we would be flying from manchester and heathrow or newcastle ,we live in different parts of the country.

thank you so much for your time

Dear Ann

You could try the Ship Inn about 2 miles from Kyrenia. Like an English Pub from the front but has a good pool and indoor pool, great restuarant and pool table in the bar for the boys.

The Sempati is also a nice hotel, it is crescent shaped with views to the sea from the front and the mountains from the back. This also has a very nice pool, but is a bit further out from Kyrenia.

You can book your holiday direct with either of these hotels. They will arrange flights and taxi transfers either from Ercan or Larnaca.

I would say that you need a car to get the best of Norther Cyprus.

There is not a lot of night life for teenagers, but I think they will have a great time with what Cyprus has to offer.

If you do decide to go and If you have any questions please email me.

Hi,

My wife and I love North Cyprus, we%26#39;ve had three holidays there and have already booked for 2008! We%26#39;ve stayed at Denizkizi Royal which is a good basic hotel, on B%26amp;B terms. There is a steep walk down to a large pool and then further down there is a Beach Bar and sandy beach. The hotel rooms are comfortable, and in the Royal have views down the coast and out to sea. It is about 5 miles from Kyrenia, and a hire car would be useful. When we were there last, 100 yards from hotel is an open air restaurant run by a couple from Birmingham that do excellent evening meals. Home style cooking if that%26#39;s what you are looking for.

Try looking at their website for details. Hope this helps.

Regards,

Roger.

We always used to use cyprus paradise and found them to be very good especially now as they fly direct to larnaca and taxi or bus you across the border, i think the choice of hotel depends a lot on what you are looking for and where you want to be, plenty of choice if you book direct but sometimes if its your 1st time here you might be better booking through a travel company as I said Cyprus Paradise are very good value.

we have been to northern cyprus for the past 8 years so if you want any further infomation let me know

Hi My wife and I have had three excellent holidays at Denizkizi Royal which is about 5 mile west of Kyrenia. There are two hotels owned by the same gentleman and you can stay on B+B basis. There are a number of restaurants nearby, for evening meals. There is a large pool, and beach bar so that you can spend the day on the beach or by the pool. The cove is small and is principaly for the use of residents, although vistors from outside are charged.

Try looking at the Hotel website, or go to North Cyprus Tourism, then there is a list of Hotels for your choice. Kibris Turkish Airlines do packages, we%26#39;ve just booked to go again next May 2008. This time we are going to Merit Crystal Cove which is 5 star on an AI basis.

Trust this may help. Best regards Malcolm Solihull.

I used the beach and pool area at the Denizkizi in May - excellent - Better and cheaper than The Escape Beach.

Stayed at the Sempati and Ship Hotel on a few occassions. Both are good family hotels. However, our son preferred the Ship hotel it has that edge for us because of the added extra of an indoor pool, jacuzzi and closer to Kyrenia centre. Sempati is a little further out near Lapta and needed to hire a car.

We can recommend booking with Green Island holidays and travelled via Ercan. They are a good company who are always on the ball with their airport transfers to and from your hotel. They use new and reliable transport which is important when you are going through the mountain road.

Our son is a teenager and really enjoys ZET go-karting, Escape beach and Acapulco hotel for the slides and beach. You can buy a day ticket for these amenities. We used the internet to identify the location and prices before we used.

Hope you have a good holiday
