Damon Apartments

Hi, Has anyone stayed in the Damon Apartments, paphos...????

Just got back from the Damon Apartments Sunday; if you haven%26#39;t already booked a holiday there this should give you the heads up! The hotel is situated in a pretty good area, within walking distance of the harbour and nighlife while there are some good pubs and restaurants on the same street. Wouldn%26#39;t fault the location, staff were also very friendly and helpful but all they said and did couldn%26#39;t make up for the fact that the accomodation itself is woeful. The rooms are definately not three star standard, I%26#39;ve stayed in cleaner hostels. When we arrived the room we were given looked like it hadn%26#39;t been cleaned properly in years, the floors were really badly stained with grime and surface dirt, especially in the bathrooms where the tiles were disgusting. I couldn%26#39;t walk in bare feet all week it was so horrible. Also the used soap of the previous occupier was left in the sink and bathtub, we checked several more rooms after complaining and saw that leaving someone elses old soap in the bathroom was the norm for the cleaning staff! After seeing three other rooms, we decided to stick with ours as they were all equally dirty, even after I found hairs on my clean bedsheets!Definately wouldnt stay here again or recommend it to anyone, it really put a dampner on the holiday, Also I went with my boyfriend and the hotel doesn%26#39;t have any rooms with double beds so be warned! Hope this helps.
