Odessa Hotel / Worried

We are going to this Hotel in 2 wks. Originally booked it because it got really good reviews on Trip Advisor. I am getting quite worried as the most recent review said it was a SMELLY HOLE!!!

Any one been??? Can you please let me know what it was really like I find it rather funny that this particular person gave it such a bad review when others were very good.Should I take it with a pinch of salt or should I try and change the Hotel.

I looked at holiday truths /holidays uncovered /holiday watchdog etc before placing this post. All the other reviews seemed to be o.k.

This hotel is in the brochure as a 3plus rated hotel so I would expect it to be a decent standard,but was worried when reading the latest review. Would really like to hear another opinion from someone who has been recently.I suppose it is to late for us to change now so we will just keep our fingers crossed and hope it is o.k.

If not we will take it up with the tour operator in Cyprus.

If the hotel also has good reviews then try not to worry. There will always be a misery guts who moans about everything, and those reviews are very subjective.

The hotel is excellent. It%26#39;s in the centre of protaras, a stone%26#39;s throw from the restaurants and the clubs. Housekeepers, do their best and trust me, it is a very clean hotel. I totally recommend it.

Thanks for your reply you have put my mind at ease!!!

I was not looking forward to going to this hotel after reading

the post I mentioned but we go away about three times a year

and are usually quite easy to please.As I mentioned I read a

lot of reviews before booking this hotel and they all seemed to be very good we booked this holiday last October and have been looking forward to it. We have paid extra for a sea view room.

I have stayed in Odessa in winter, after my boyfriend and I were engaged, and I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very polite, and the food was excellent.

Elenitsa thanks for your reasuring remarks.We are leaving on Sunday just hope we are as happy with the hotel as you were.

Looking forward to some lovely sunshine and just relaxing in nice surroundings away from our terrible %26quot;summer%26quot; which has been very disappointing so far.Will let you know how we get on when we get home in 2 weeks.Thanks again

I recommend fig tree bay, which is 5 minutes walking from odessa,if not less.

And once again, enjoy your stay.

We have just arrived home from Cyprus and we had a great time at the Odessa Hotel. The review I refered to was very inacurate to say the least. The Odessa was a very clean hotel the food was excellant

and all the staff were very helpful and polite.The location was fantastic right next to the beach and the town centre was minutes away . I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
