Very very hot in July. Can hit 40 degrees plus. Cyprus is currently experiencing a real heat wave now. The whole of July and August is always very hot but it is safe to go, just don%26#39;t attempt to sit out in the sun all day without some shade and keep dipping into the pool or sea. You can spot the British at a hundred paces - lobster red and panting from the heat. Be sensible - sunbathe early between 9 and 11 and after 3pm Make sure you drink loads and loads of water - boring I know but it will stop you becoming dehydrated - try to lay off the fizzy drinks %26amp; keep booze to the very bare minimum in the heat of the day. Evenings do not cool down very much either so if you wear makeup keep it in the fridge otherwise it will melt (in fact the only thing you are likely to use is mascara and bronzer - assuming you are female!) and make sure you get the air conditioning on.

The elderly and children are obviously more vulnerable to the heat - just use common sense, when you feel too hot or uncomfortable get indoors into the air conditioning, keep hydrated and you%26#39;ll have a good time. I speak from experience - it is slightly too hot for me in July but I%26#39;d swap it any day for our current weather conditions PS: Leave your jeans at home!! You definitely won%26#39;t need them but above all have a good time.
