Message for cyprusev re-Limassol restaurants

Hi cyprusev

We%26#39;re planning a week%26#39;s holiday at the Four Seasons Hotel in September. We%26#39;re debating whether or not to book half board at the hotel. Can you recommend any restaurants/bars close to the hotel, either within walking distance or a short drive away? We love all types of food especially Greek, Chinese and Italian, and a fun but not rowdy atmosphere in bars.

Many thanks

Hi U2 fan

Please bear in mind the four seasons have changed the half board policy, half board now only allows you to use their main buffet restaurant where in the past you could pay a supplement to use the others now you have to upgrade to a service called dine around.

Near by there is mamas taverna which is very nice local food and an Italian restaurants al pesto, within walking distance. A short drive away Terra Mare al la carte restaurant, Mexican El Pueblo, Tokyo japanese restaurant and Pagoda for chinese food.

Good snack food try ocean bar near by to your hotel.

Let me know if i can help further

Thanks for your recommendations cyprusev; they%26#39;re very much appreciated.

We made a reservation with the hotel yesterday and we booked on a B%26amp;B basis - at least then we have a choice whether we eat in the hotel or in the local restaurants.

Thanks again.

Both Mamas and Al Pesto excellent restaurants! - ate twice in Mamas..both Italian inspired....there was another restaurant which was highly recommended but was shut whilst we were there in the winter season....I think it was Blue something or other, it would be on the right hand side if you were driving into Limassol.
