Where to go on holiday in Cyprus?

Hi!

We are looking at going on holiday in mid-late Sept and heard that Cyprus is still hot, around 30 degrees C, this time of year.

Please can someone tell me which resort/destination would be the best area for us to go? We are looking for:

%26gt; Beaches

%26gt; Good nightlife (bars, restaurants and maybe clubs)

%26gt; Perhaps some things to do, i.e. historic sights, theme parks, water parks, zoos, etc.

My boyfriend doesn%26#39;t like the sound of Aiya Napa, because he thinks it%26#39;s tacky, so that ones out!

Thanks! xx Emmie

for beaches Protaras is probably your best bet, Ayia Napa is busy at night, but the beaches are lovely and i always have a couple of days there in the daytime. Protaras has plenty to do, nice bars and restaurants ets, i will be there towards the end of September

If Ayia Napa is definitely out then it has to be Protaras or Pernera - lovely beaches and plenty of night life in Protaras if you want it. Beaches not very good on the west side of Cyprus.

Paphos doesn%26#39;t have such fantastic beaches, but it has a beautiful harbour, the ancient mosiaic, lots of museums, the water park, 2 karting circuits, a pedestrianised bar street, a great selection of restaurants, bars and a few nightclubs, an aquarium, reptile park, bird park, beach buggy/quad bike hire. Also not too far from the Troodos mountains if you need to cool off on a day out - yes it will be very hot still! Enjoy, the people are lovely.
