Definitely upgrade to a sea view - you will have a lovely view over the bay and the Med

Upgrade for a sea view and try to get one of the superior rooms the other rooms are ok but are just looking a little drab. Its the best 3 star plus we have ever been in, infact better than some 4 star hotels we have visited in the past Pernera its self for me is just right for night life plenty going on. If you want more action go into Protaros.

Pernera is far more laid back than Protaras. You don%26#39;t give your age but basically in Pernera in the evening there are just restaurants (great ones at that) with Kylie, Tom Jones %26amp; Elvis all alive and kicking!! Its only a 10 minute walk into Protaras, which is much busier, or five minutes by taxi. Taxi will cost you approx 8 to 10CYP return. Ayia Nappa 20 minutes. Regular bus service which takes you into Nappa for, I think about, 90c. Bus stop right opposite Knights Bar in the centre of Pernera. Haven%26#39;t stayed in the Pernera Beach hotel as I prefer apartments but you should definitely upgrade for a sea view. The views are stunning, straight over the med. You have two beaches to choose from, Pernera Beach right in front of your hotel or just round the corner is the beach in front of the Golden Coast Hotel which is also very nice. If you plan on eating out in the evening try the Culturo de Gusto and Blue Spice in Pernera - bit more expensive than the usual touristy restuarants but well worth it.

Take a trip to Anita%26#39;s viewpoint to view Famagusta - really interesting.

I%26#39;m back out there in 19 days for my eighth visit to this particular area of Cyprus. It has become more developed over the past few years but even so it is still a lovely part of the island.

Have a great holiday

I read somewhere that the Pernera Beach is to be renovated in 2007, has this started yet anyone?
