How much to take???

Hi, am going to Cyrpus for 2 weeks shortly with my husband - just wondering how much we should take? We are staying half board and would like to go out quite a bit. Any help would be great, thanks, Kerry

just to give you an idea.

im going away with 12 lads at the start of august for 2 weeks. (20-21 yr olds) so we will be going out every night , spending quie a bit etc.

most of us are bringing 2500 - 3000 euro each which equals about 1300-1600 cypriot pounds.

Hi, myself and my boyfriend are just back from two absolutely amazing weeks in Ayia Napa and we spent in total 1500 euros each over the two weeks we were there. That was us eating us out every day and night, we did almost every water sport at the beach, went to the water park, travelled to protoras to the widlife park and went to a water show that night, we used taxi%26#39;s everywhere, spent a fortune on the amusements and brought a load of presents home!! And still managed to go out every night!! We expected it to be much dearer and brought over 2000e each but ended up coming home still with money. Happy days!! Hope you two have the time of your life as we had!!! Food is great and the people are so friendly and the weather was in the 40 degree mark all the time! Nice!!

What is the best currecny to take? Euros or cypriot pounds?

Is Cyprus using the Euro? - I understood there was to be dual pricing from September of this year but the actual Euro wasn%26#39;t coming into force until early next year. £1500CYP should be enough. Take a credit card just in case you go mad.

summer sizzler. theres no way you could get by doing all the stuff you did and still go out every night with only 1500 EURO... are u sure you meant 1500 POUNDS...

trust me scampie, dont bring 1500 euro which would equal around 800 cyprioc pouinds.. 1500 only did me a week last yr and i didnt do much activities. only waterpark once which was 20pounds to enter and done jet skis and banana boat once.

its a very dear place.

anyway you would rather bring extra money rather than be over there struggling. splash out and enjoy yourself rather than live on a budget.

We%26#39;re going B%26amp;B in a hotel for 2 weeks, so we will have to eat out most nights. Just wondering if you can give me a rough idea of how much money to bring?

is your accomodation paid for?

if it is paid for then you would need somewhere between 2000-3000 euro each.. depending on how many activites , trips you will take part in , and how much partying you intend to do
