iberostar ledra

hi we have just managed to arrange a 2 week holiday in paphos at the iberostar ledra, we were supposed to be staying at the iberostar paraiso lindo in mexico and were due to fly out 19th august but got cancelled due to the hurricane, i know that this hotel will not be the same but im just after some honest feedback on both hotel and paphos many thanks

You will not be disapointed with the Ledra beach, really nice hotel with a lovely lobby %26amp; Pool area, Staff %26amp; management really friendly %26amp; helpfull, have not stayed there but been in the hotel many times

thanks for your reply , just been informed that they have double booked us and are trying now to put us in the louis imperial beach club is this of the same calibre

Personally I think the Imperial Beach is far better.

We stayed at the Ledra Beach a couple of years ago. You cannot fault the food, or the service and friendliness of the staff, BUT we thought it was a bit like a holiday camp. The rooms are very tired (unless they%26#39;ve been updated in the last couple of years) and the grounds and pool are nice, but there can be a shortage of decent sunbeds. It just felt like there were a few too many people about, and it all felt a bit crowded. The bar and dining room were very busy in the evenings. In fact, the dining room felt more like a big canteen.

We haven%26#39;t stayed at the Imperial, but stay in the hotel next door to it. We think the grounds and pool/sunbathing areas at the Imperial are far nicer, and far more spacious than the Ledra Beach. I believe the general reports are very good in terms of food etc. The sunbeds etc always look to be plentiful and of good quality. The two hotels are no more than 5-10 mins walk from each other, but the Imperial is slightly closer to the bars, restaurants etc.

You%26#39;ll enjoy Paphos, I%26#39;m sure.

many thanks for that, are all taxi companies not that reliable ive confirmed twice to different companie for tomorrow and they just emailed me today saying they cant do it, i suppose i will haave to get one at the airport
