Going for five days in octber, 10th - 15th, are the bars still open then? obviously it will be a lot quieter.
also what is the weather like generally over this period.

Hi, I went to Protaras last year from 11th to 25th Oct.
Daytime temps in mid 20%26#39;s, we had a couple of heavy showers during the day, %26amp; thunderstorms some evenings, one really heavy one the evening before we left %26amp; as we were going to the airport. Still warm in the evenings sometimes a bit breezy. Everywhere in Protaras was still open, most places were closing down at the end of the month, so I guess Ayia Napa would be the same.

I was there with friends a few years ago in October. There was plenty to do but it was very quiet in Aiya Napa. Most bars were open but only a few clubs.
If you are not into the party scene too much but enjoy a social outing then October is probably the best time. However if you are a perty animal you may be disapointed. The weather was still really good, came back with a good suntan!!

Thanks very much for your replies.. we arent looking for clubbing really, as long as there a few bars that are open late and a bit of sun we will be happy!
