Just thought I’d post a quick review from our recent 2 week holiday to Ayia Napa - this was our second visit there and we’ll definitely return. It might offer some tips for those travelling there for the first time.
Accomodation: We stayed at the Grecian Sands hotel which I have posted a separate review for under the hotels section, so you can make your own mind up if it’s the hotel for you.
Cost: Expect to pay 5 Cyp pounds for 2 drinks in any of the pubs in the square. A taxi from the airport into Ayia Napa will cost between 25 – 30 Cyp pounds. A 2 course meal for 2 people with drinks/ wine will cost between 20 – 30 Cyp pounds in a good standard restaurant.
Food: Would recommend the following. Clarabels – excellent flambe steakhouse. Pagoda – chinese on Nissi avenue. Limelight tavern – various grilled meats and extremely reasonable price-wise. Piazza Bianco – in main square and by far the best Italian I’ve ever been ate at. Oh and for those who enjoy trying various local dishes then a Meze is a must!
Excursions: Done day trip to Nicosia. Interesting to see differences between the old town and new town and also the divide between occupied areas. Shopping is pretty good – Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Fendi plus all the other usual high street stores.
Waterworld is also a great day out for those who enjoy water parks – admission cost is approx 15 Cyp pounds per adult.
Pubs/ Clubs: Too many to mention but the ones we visited and enjoyed were the bar in the Napa Plaza hotel, Vanilla bar (24 hours), Bazaar, Titanic, Jammin and Monkey Trouble. In terms of clubs the main ones we went to were Castle club and Black n’ White.

I%26#39;d recommend between 800 - 1000 GBP should comfortably be enough for the 2 weeks. Have a great time. We%26#39;re gutted to be back home!

The weather was fantastic when we were there for the last 2 weeks in June - its was high 30%26#39;s. Should be just as warm, if not warmer, when you go. No tips other than those in the original review. Enjoy Napa!!
