hi everyone, hoping to go to polis or latchi in september.which one would be best, hoping for rest and relaxation! looked at bouganvillae apartments in polis, has anyone any info on them, is weather still hot and is a week enough. finding it difficult to get holidays there from scotland! would I need to hire a car. any info greatly appreciated!

Definately Polis. We have stayed in Polis twice, once at the Bourganvillae Apts 3 years ago. Lovely apts, clean, spacious and Stravros the owner is really friendly and helpful. They have a lovely pool area and apts are only 5 min walk to the small town centre, but still very peaceful.
Polis is quite small, but plenty of tavernas to choose a different one every night. Nice, quiet beach 15 min walk from apts. We hired a car for 4 days, ample time to visit Latchi, Paphos and lots of the gorgeous beaches that Cyprus is known for.
Weather will still be hot in Sept, I would highly recommend Polis and the Bourganvillae, people tend to go back year after year. Hope this is of some help. If you need any more info, let me know.

We are going back to Polis in September. We found the place by accident whilst staying in Paphos some years back. Hired a car and found ourselves in Polis. Simply fell in love with the place...unspoilt and the locals are fantastic. We stay at the Natura Beach Hotel but there are a few places to stay thereabouts. Plenty of good restaurants/tavernas in the area...explore and find what you want. Latchi isn%26#39;t that far away so you could reach there too. I prefer Polis but there are some nice fish restaurants in Latchi and also the Baths of Aphrodite.
You%26#39;ll need a car if you want to go further afield although there are buses daily to Paphos and back but they don%26#39;t run late. You can find times online I%26#39;m sure.
