Nights out in Protaras

We%26#39;re a young couple going to Protaras at the end of the month and wanted to know if there are a lot of things to do in the evening in Protaras or if it is better to go to Ayai Napa. We%26#39;ve stayed in Ayia Napa before but was told Protaras is a bit quieter but still has a lot of restaurants and bars to choose from?

I am in Protaras now and there is plenty to do of a night. The road is buzzing with peope, bars etc. A few places do tribute nights and there are a couple of clubs too.

i am 25 and just back from Protaras with my bf, theres lots of pubs which stay open til about 2/2.30am and a couple of discos (which are not very good, Q Club is a really young crowd but i enjoyed it as i was Very drunk and Boogies which is ment to be better but was really quiet.) You will get free passes when walking down the street so worth a look anyway since your not paying. Ghetto bar is good and really busy, Bells bar is loud and a bit more family orientated but excellent strawberry daiquiris!! Were going to go to Ayai Napa at night but was so much easier to stay in Protaras and stagger home!! Protaras is quieter but really big so plenty of choices for meals and pubs.

Zucchinis Italian is nice, Parko for a mixture of food (Quite romantic with a wee singer and stuff at night) Island Affair for steaks, Raj Indian all def worth a visit for a meal!!

Big Chinese looks fancy but food was really cold and curry was almost missing the sauce so would not waste my time going there.

Protaras was ace we both loved it and will def go back. You will have a ball!! :)

Cinnamon%26#39;s Irish bar just beyond the top of the D is good - music from 945 each evening. Good food at Diva, Restorante Italiano and the others mentioned by previous poster. Avoid La Pas for food although it%26#39;s ok for a drink. Plenty to do in Protaras and some of the people staying where we stayed said that they had clubbed together to get a taxi to Ayia Napa for the evening.

Rockerfellows with Jimmy Spender is good for 60%26#39;s, 70%26#39;s and 80%26#39;s sing-along music, Love Boat is good for music but get there before 9 as it gets crowded.

Thanks for the info. We%26#39;re going tomorrow so will have to check all these places out!
