help! we are planning our wedding for june 08 and are looking at staying at athena beach and probably getting married there as well.
We have 2 kids which will be aged 3 and 16 months, our wedding party is not that big aprox 10-14, we are looking for a local restaurant to hold a reception.
We are planning on staying on a b%26amp;b basis and wondered how expensive it is to eat at the hotel and surrounding area.
Any advice on the wedding, places to eat or wether it is worth having the reception at the hotel would be gratefully recieved.

Hi Dappy1
The Athena Beach is a lovely hotel %26amp; I think you would be very happy with having your reception there too. They have various meal options specially tailored for wedding parties of all sizes. I suggest you contact the Athena Beach Hotel and ask for George the Food %26amp; Beverage Manager, he will send you their wedding package by email for you to have a look at the menu choices.
Hope that is helpful.

Hi
We stayed at the Athena Beach and had our Wedding reception there two years ago. I can highly reccommend it. Prices were very reasonable and there were loads of menu choices plus they were very happy to do basic things like pizza and chips for the kids. We had a party of 25 of varying ages and everyone loved it. On the constantinou bros website there is a weddings section with menus and lots of information. They even opened one of the bars for us in the afternoon for drinks when we returned after the wedding. Would reccommend a sea view room at the hotel if your budget allows.

Hi there,
I got married in Paphos at teh Athena Beach in April... it aws fantastic!!!
We got married outside and then we had a one hour open bar on the veranda and then a meal in the Zephyr Restaurant.
At night time we had a meal/buffet with about 25 guests including 6 children at the Alkion Taverna in bar street. Anne the manager is english and nothing is too much trouble. She decortaed all the table with helium balloons in any colour you wanted, beautiful table decorations, table cloths etc. The food was absolutley gorgeous and there was more than enough. It only cost us a couple of hundred pounds including all the drinks which was fantastic.
It was on a Wednesday night and they had greek dancers on who got everybody up to dance inside and also outside in the street round a ring of fire!!!
We couldn%26#39;t have chosen better. Yoiu could choose from traditional greek food or good old english (roast potatoes, rost beef etc)
We couldn%26#39;t fault it one bit.
Good luck wherever you choose
xxxx
