wedding grecian park

im getting married at the grecian park hotel july 2007 has any one got any views on this hotel or has any one got married there please help as very confused about the reviews

Hi i got married there in may 2006, it is a georgous setting for a wedding, we went to visit there for 1 day had a meal for our anniversary, food still lovely, there are a couple of downsides,

if your party are fussy eaters its not ideal to have set menus.

When you have your meeting with manager of hotel you dont always get where you request ie where you want your reception held on grounds, this is down to how many in your party, i had 40 at mine so i got the large marquee then requested the red room its part of the night club downstairs and paid for a dj.

Your not guaranteed on time of wedding either until you speak to manager as its down to how many weds on that day and you wont find out til day or 2 after meeting with him.

dont pay for anything through your agents do it all there, go to protarus 5cyp£ and every you need is there photographers, florist.

Try and do your own name cards and take them out with you. do a table plan ready for the manager, i wanted 5 round tables but they try and get you to have them long ways but i insisted then got what i wanted. also the house keeper looks after your dress very safe and brings to your room when you request. they will try and get you to buy table decs but dont bother cos tables looked great anyway.

hope i%26#39;ve not put you off anything, it%26#39;ll be fine I found it was a stress free wedding and planning.I had a fab wedding day everything went smoothly and it was perfect.

Hi i got married there sept 2004 i was just like you before i went worried and completely in the dark. I shouldnt have worried it was completely laid back and stress free in fact my hubby to be was in the pool an hour before we got married.

They do so many weddings there now they have got them down to a tee.

We got married in the wedding suite because we never had the option of getting married in the gardens.

In fact our wedding went so well my husband brother was so impressed he got married there last year that to went without a hitch.

The size of your wedding party depends on the kind of reception you have. we had 25 guests so we opted for the outsde BBQ on the sun terrace, the table was beautifully set and there was waiters on hand for pouring wine and anything we needed.

In all it was a wonderful day in a wonderful setting, just enjoy every minute its goes so fast
