Thanks for your reply salsalady, I have looked at the sunrise beach hotle in tripadvisor and thomson, but the rooms all seem to have carpets. Do you have a room number that doesnt have them?

HI jrt88
the reason the rooms at Sunrise Beach appear to have carpets, is that the pictures in the brochures and on their web site are old pics..
the hotel was refurbished during last winter, and are very nice now, the bathrooms are especially nice........the tiling was all new and trendy, thw walls were done in plain white with blue dado style borders and the floors grey ceramic tiles..........all the bathroom fittings were of the highest standard........and the bath had a shower screen, which made a nice change from those grungy shower curtains, that you get in many hotels..........
for your info, we stayed in room 222..this room was a %26#39;side sea view%26#39; room, but it had a perfectly adequate view of the sea, and looked out onto the gardens and tennis courts........
hope this helps........
