5* Restaurants

Hi all

Does anybody know of any top quality restaurants for evening meal?

Staying in Paphos at Kefalos Beach Village. Dont mind travelling to Coral Bay. Also, in Paphos i know there is the harbour area but is there an old town? Ive heard something about markets there, whats that area like for restaurants? Only there 1 week, so i want to try and vary were we go.

There is a nice looking posh restaurant called Artio in a side street quite near the Kefalos Beach. We had a look but decided it was a bit beyond our budget at the time ( nice for a special occasion though!). Also there is one called Sienna further out towards Coral Bay that is reputed to be good.

Of the ones we ate at, the Apomero down in Kato Paphos (behind bar street ) was good, and we also enjoyed Les Amis up by the Aloe hotel. We didn%26#39;t eat up in the town at all.

There are some nice tavernas in the surrounding villages if you have a car, and you will pay less than down in the harbour. Hope you have a good time, we are off to Cyprus ourselves in 8 weeks but to the other end of the island!

Koh-e-Nor is also a really nice Indian rest

Sienna is lovely restaurant and would really recommend Deep Blue Sea fish restaurant

Daphines italian, behind the aquarium is lovely, I was there in may - cost about CY£40 ish for 2 adults inc wine, but you should really visit the almond tree (its in the rough guide to cyprus - along bar street to baywatch bar and up that side road away from the sea direction), it%26#39;s recommended you book before as it%26#39;s very popular with the locals too. Coral Bay really only has the one main road and I dont recall any 5* restaurants there.

I would recommend the following restaurants for a special night:

Pavarotti%26#39;s (00357 26912588)

Cavallini (00357 26964164)

Oliveto (00357 26220099)

Cava - in the Elysium Hotel in the Tombs of the Kings area

The Amathus and Annabelle Hotels have really nice restaurants too.

I hope that I have given u som nice suggestionsfor a local%26#39;s point of view.

Should have stayed for two weeks so many nice restaurants to choose from!
